Sessions tailored to the reader
We might work through a set text for class, plan and strengthen an essay, unpack a difficult book together, or map a reading plan—shaped around where you are and where you want to go.
Common cases
- Understanding a novel, play, or poem set for high-school, AP, or IB English
- Planning, structuring, and strengthening essays and literary analysis
- Building confidence and independence ahead of exams or university
- Tackling a challenging book, theorist, or first encounter with theory
- Returning to serious reading, or preparing for independent study
Tutoring here is about learning how to read with greater confidence, clarity, and pleasure.
How sessions run
Sessions are held online via Zoom or audio-only. You'll complete a short questionnaire beforehand and receive follow-up notes afterward.
